Target Audience

Overview

An intensive one-day training designed to address the ethical, regulatory, and organizational challenges of adopting Artificial Intelligence within organizations. With a strong focus on real ethical dilemmas and corporate case studies, participants will develop the critical skills needed to recognize, analyze, and address the most complex ethical issues related to AI.

From understanding the EU AI Act to managing algorithmic bias, from decision transparency to building an operational governance framework, each concept is grounded in real-world scenarios that stimulate reflection and discussion, making the training immediately applicable in organizational contexts.

Prerequisites

No specific technical prerequisites are required. A basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its areas of application may be helpful.

9:30 AM – Registration and course introduction

10:00 – 11:30 – Session 1:
AI Ethics – fairness, transparency, accountability.
The EU AI Act: obligations, risk classification, and implications for businesses.

11:30 – 13:00 – Session 2:
Algorithmic bias – how it arises, how it is measured, and how it can be mitigated.
Transparency and explainability (XAI).
Data governance in the era of LLMs.

13:00 – 14:00 – Networking lunch (included in the registration fee)

14:00 – 16:00 – Session 3:
Organizational models for AI governance.
Impact Assessment (AIIA/FRIA).
Responsible AI: checklists, audits, and continuous monitoring.

16:00 – 17:30 – Session 4:
Workshop – Building an AI governance framework for your organization.
Stakeholder engagement and future trends.

At the end of the masterclass, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for the masterclass is €400 per person.

For Foundation members, the price is €200 per person.
For IFAB affiliates, the price is €300 per person.

Prices are exclusive of VAT (22%).

For IFAB Members, 2 free passes per year are valid for all 2026 masterclasses (the 2 passes apply to the entire program, not to each individual masterclass).

For all categories (Standard, Members, Affiliates), for every 4 participants from the same organization registered for a single masterclass, the 5th participant attends free of charge.
