From March 19 to 21, 2026<\/strong>, the DAMA Tecnopolo Data Manifattura Emilia-Romagna<\/strong> in Bologna will open its doors to the public for the very first time with Tecn\u00f2polis<\/strong>, a festival dedicated to Supercomputing, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.

Tecn\u00f2polis was created to bring citizens, students, businesses and professionals<\/strong> closer to the key challenges of digital transformation and sustainability<\/strong>, encouraging dialogue between research institutions, public bodies and local communities. IFAB at Tecn\u00f2polis: data and innovation for sustainable water management<\/h4>\n

Among the events featured in the festival programme, IFAB \u2013 International Foundation Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for Human Development will host a talk dedicated to one of today\u2019s most urgent global challenges: the sustainable management of water resources.<\/p>\n

The session, titled \u201cTECHPILL \u2013 Managing Water Resources Efficiently and Sustainably<\/strong>\u201d scheduled on Saturday, March 21st (2:30 PM), will feature Massimo Temporelli<\/strong>, science and technology communicator, and Marta Carboni<\/strong>, Head of Innovation & Business Development at IFAB. The discussion will explore how data analytics, predictive models, Artificial Intelligence and advanced technologies can support more efficient and responsible water management, highlighting practical applications across territories and industrial systems.<\/p>\n
