IFAB \u2013 International Foundation Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for Human Development \u2013 is proud to support the new industrial research project \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifabfoundation.org\/en\/project\/safe-secure-anomaly-detection-edge-ai-system-for-critical-environments\/\">SAFE<\/a>\u201d developed in collaboration with three outstanding Italian companies:<strong> SECO<\/strong>, <strong>Bonfiglioli<\/strong>, and <strong>Tampieri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>A concrete opportunity to drive innovation<\/h3>\n<p>The project will run from July 1st to December 31st, 2025, and is aimed at motivated young individuals ready to tackle real-world challenges in the <strong>food, chemical, and energy industries<\/strong>. These scholarships, designed also for those seeking a gradual transition into the job market, offer a valuable chance to enhance one\u2019s professional profile through applied research under the scientific guidance of industry partners.<\/p>\n<h3>Goal: safety and performance in industry, powered by ai<\/h3>\n<p>This initiative is part of the SAFE project, focused on developing advanced predictive models for anomaly detection in rotating machinery. At the core of the research are cutting-edge technologies such as <strong>LSTM neural networks<\/strong>, <strong>generative AI algorithms<\/strong> (GANs), and optimization techniques for deployment on edge microcontrollers. The developed system will be validated both in lab settings and directly on-site with industrial partners, aiming to significantly boost operational safety and production efficiency.<\/p>\n<h3>Applications open until june 16th<\/h3>\n<p>Applications are open until <strong>June 16, 2025<\/strong>.
