An innovative technological platform designed to revolutionize the approach to reading complex texts and make significant progress towards accessibility and inclusion for people with learning or comprehension difficulties: this is the mission of the “Limpide Letture” project, developed by Asphi Onlus and IBM and funded by IFAB.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLimpide Letture\u201d was created with the goal of making texts more comprehensible and accessible to everyone through two main features:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Simple Reading, a function that simplifies text content following the European “easy-to-read” guidelines, making language more accessible and easy to understand.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Guided Reading, an interactive experience that highlights difficult words and rhetorical figures, offering explanations, insights, and quizzes to guide users in exploring the text.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    At the heart of this platform is LucIA, a virtual assistant based on advanced language models (LLMs), which supports users at every stage of their reading journey, adapting to their specific needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Thanks to Limpide Letture, the reading experience becomes more inclusive, helping individuals with learning or comprehension difficulties actively engage with texts. The platform not only simplifies content but also stimulates curiosity and learning through interactive and personalized tools. It serves as a concrete example of how new technologies can help create tools that improve people’s lives, break down barriers, and create new learning opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Developed by Asphi Onlus, an organization dedicated for over 40 years to technological innovation for social inclusion, and IBM, a global leader in AI technologies, Limpide Letture was funded by IFAB as part of its mission to promote projects that combine technology, research, and human development.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
