IFAB will take part as ambassador of the FastwebAI Hackathon 2025, the national competition dedicated to Generative Artificial Intelligence, promoted by Fastweb and aimed at the most promising talents in digital innovation. The goal: to enhance ideas, solutions, and people capable of tackling the major digital challenges of our time.
The event will take place in Milan from September 11th to 12th, 2025, in person at the Fastweb NeXXt headquarters, with the final session hosted in the exclusive spaces of the STEP FuturAbility District.
The FastwebAI Hackathon offers a valuable opportunity to connect with companies, institutions, and leading players in the Italian and European innovation landscape.
The initiative comes at a crucial time for the Italian AI ecosystem, which IFAB actively supports through strategic consulting for large enterprises and SMEs, funding and supporting research activities, promoting scientific dissemination, and fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors.
A marathon of ideas for AI serving society
The Fastweb AI Hackathon is open to university students, young professionals, startups, and researchers interested in exploring strategic topics related to the application of Generative AI in key sectors of society.
Participants will be challenged to develop prototypes, concepts, and concrete project proposals in their chosen field, with a particular focus on business innovation.
Awards and recognition
Two prizes are up for grabs:
- Best Innovative Project – worth €5,000, with access to the DGX SUPERPOD FASTWEBAI FACTORY and potential future collaborations on Fastweb projects.
- Best Inclusion Project – a scholarship for 1 person to attend the 19th edition of the Master’s in Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (valued at €3,500), in partnership with the Giacomo Brodolini Foundation.
