The housing issue is one of the most pressing topics today, both in Italy and across Europe. While there is a concrete risk of social and economic inequalities, EU member states are increasingly developing policies and initiatives to manage and regulate the phenomenon.
These themes are at the core of the event for “The Social Infrastructure Impact Investment Index (SI4)”, a project led by PlusValue in collaboration with IFAB. The initiative aims to address the growing housing crisis in Europe and emerging inequalities by focusing on tools and solutions to bridge the housing investment gap, mobilizing both public and private capital.
The event will explore opportunities for the European Union to support national and regional initiatives by promoting best practices from member states. Additionally, it will highlight the importance of innovative financial instruments such as special bonds and broader social taxonomy to attract large-scale private investments.
The project’s kick-off meeting, organized by the European Policy Centre (EPC) in Brussels, is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the EPC headquarters (Rue du Trône 14-16) from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Below are details on the speakers.
