“New Machines and Ancient Knowledge: AI, Supercomputing, and Data for Cultural Heritage” is the title of the event organized by IFAB and EuroCC Italy in collaboration with Il Mulino, scheduled for December 3, 2024, at the Biblioteca Il Mulino in Bologna. This event represents a significant opportunity to delve into the application of Artificial Intelligence, supercomputing, and big data in enhancing cultural heritage.
Sponsored by Fondazione ICSC, Osservatorio ICSC, and Fondazione Changes, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and co-funded by the European Union and EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, the conference aims to promote a constructive and in-depth dialogue between academia, research, and innovation to explore the opportunities that new technologies offer to the cultural sector.
Through presentations by leading experts, the conference will showcase studies and concrete cases demonstrating how Artificial Intelligence and supercomputing can transform the approach to the preservation, management, and enjoyment of cultural heritage.
