Susanna Scarciglia is the Innovation & Partnership Director and a member of the Management Committee at Alstom in Italy. She is responsible for managing relationships with universities and research centers, promoting innovation, and she coordinates the sustainability roadmap as the Italy Corporate & Social Responsibility Coordinator. She also is an Ethic & Compliance Ambassador. She collaborates with several academic institutions, including the ‘Scuola di Alta Formazione’ – University of Bologna, the ‘Mobility Engineering’ – Politecnico di Milano, and the ‘Train 4 me’ master’s program – Politecnico di Torino.
Certified as a PMP® (Project Management Professional), Susanna Scarciglia has nearly twenty years of experience in project and portfolio management, overseeing and coordinating turnkey projects as a Mandatary in Temporary Joint Ventures in the railway sector. She is a member of the Board of Directors of CRIT (Centro Ricerca ed Innovazione Tecnologica), a member of CIFI (Collegio Ingegneri Ferroviari Italiani) and a member of the Order of Engineers of Bologna.
She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bologna.
