Confcooperative Emilia-Romagna joins IFAB: technological innovation meets SMEs

The digital transition of small and medium-sized enterprises is at the heart of the agreement signed by IFAB and Confcooperative Emilia-Romagna, with the latter officially becoming a member of the Foundation. The common goal is to guide and support the regional cooperative and productive system in the transfer of knowledge, technologies and infrastructures for inclusive and sustainable development strategies.

Confcooperative Emilia Romagna is the trade union of enterprises that represents at regional level the cooperative movement that refers to the Confederation of Italian Cooperatives, the main Association of the sector established in 1919. The Association is the expression of territorial Unions that group a system over 1,500 cooperatives with 234,000 members, 86,000 employees and a turnover of almost 14 billion euros. Is part of Confcooperative Emilia Romagna also the Regional Federation of BCC that brings together 9 Cooperative Credit Banks with 145,000 members, 2,810 employees, 350 branches and a collection of 16.6 billion euros. Confcooperative Emilia Romagna is present throughout all the region with a capillary network of services aimed at supporting the management and development of businesses.
