2023 sees the launch of the MOOC “Machine learning in weather and climate” focused on the opportunities offered by Machine Learning in the meteorological field. The MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is promoted by ECMWF in partnership with IFAB.

As part of this course, an important panel discussion – “A perspective from industry on machine learning in Earth System science” – is scheduled on January 18th: three IFAB members — BIP, Leithà Unipol and CRIF — will present important practical applications of Machine Learning in Weather and Climate technologies carried out by SMEs and companies.
